Accessibility statement

The Parking & Drive Away Reminders website (parkingreminder.app) has been made accessible to meet the Israeli standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
What was made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus marker
- A “Skip to content” link on every page
- Alternative text for every image
- A written transcript for every voice sample
- Sufficient colour contrast
- Fits phones and enlarged text without sideways scrolling
- Language and text direction set on every page
- A correct heading structure
The site was tested with the automated checker axe and by hand, in Chrome on a computer and in phone view, on 17 September 2026.
Known limitations
The screenshots on the site are images of the app's screens; their content is described in the alternative text and in the text beside them.
The demo videos have captions burned into the picture and a written description beside them, but no separate caption track. The Kan 11 news clip on the Hebrew “In the media” page has a short written description, and does not yet have captions or a transcript.
The app
In the app: in the settings you can make the text larger or smaller, from 80% to 180%; announcements are spoken, and you can add written messages to them; buttons without text have a description for screen readers. This statement refers mainly to the website; comments on the app's accessibility are welcome at the address below.
